we spent a lovely day at the saratoga racetrack with several friends, old and new. i had a good day of betting on the �ponies� and winning each race (though still leaving with less money then i started with). the down side, i�ve been fighting the sore throat my better half�s illness began with, all day. he�s still not feeling well, and to celebrate my addition to the sick files we went out and bought an industrial size bottle of nyquil. we got home, i sat down at my laptop to check out our favorite diaries that had updated, poured the nyquil into the handy measuring cup and sneezed, spilling the nyquil all over the laptop�s keyboard (but i missed my white shirt, so some good did come of this). in the future, if i have multiple a, s, z and x�s, and always write in caps, i will fondly remember this day (and i apologize in advance).

but for now, i plan on entering a nyquil induced coma, waking up tomorrow, refreshing my nyquil induced coma and continuing until i have to go to work on monday. mmm, sleeping to avoid feeling sick. i love it.
